Deal Alerts

Last updated: October 15, 2026

Price Punchers (“we”, “us”) runs pricepunchers.com, a Canadian site that finds and shares deals, freebies, flight deals and class action settlements. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, and what you can do about it. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for Quebec residents, Quebec’s privacy law (Law 25).

The short version

1. Information we collect

Deal Alerts

When you sign up for Deal Alerts we collect:

We send a confirmation email first and only start sending alerts after you click the link in it.

Accounts

If you create an account, we collect your username, email address and password. Your password is stored in encrypted (hashed) form, so we cannot see it.

When you contact us

If you email us or message us on social media, we keep what you send and your contact details so we can reply.

Collected automatically

2. How we use your information

We do not use your information for any other purpose without asking you first, unless the law requires or allows it.

3. Cookies

Cookies are small files your browser stores for a website. We use:

When you click through to a store, that store and any affiliate network involved may set their own cookies to record that you came from Price Punchers. Those cookies are covered by the store’s own privacy policy, not this one.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, the site will still work, but you may need to re-enter your Deal Alerts email or sign in again.

4. Affiliate links

Price Punchers is free to use because many of the links on the site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the store may pay us a commission. This does not change the price you pay.

As an Amazon Associate, Price Punchers earns from qualifying purchases.

We do not get your name, address or payment details from the stores. At most, an affiliate program tells us that a purchase happened and what commission was earned.

5. Who we share information with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site, and only as far as they need it to do that:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Price Punchers, our visitors or others.

Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held there is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to its courts and authorities.

6. Third-party sites and social media

The site links to stores, airlines and other websites, and to our pages on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Telegram and X. It also has buttons for sharing deals to social networks. When you follow one of these links you leave our site, and what that site collects is covered by its own privacy policy.

7. How long we keep information

8. Your choices and rights

You can:

To make a request, email us (see section 12). We may need to confirm it is really you before acting, and we will reply within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Quebec residents can also contact the Commission d’accรจs ร  l’information du Quรฉbec.

9. Security

We protect personal information with reasonable safeguards: encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, security software that blocks attacks, and access to the site’s administration limited to the people who run it. No website can promise perfect security, but if a breach puts you at real risk of significant harm, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

10. Children

Price Punchers is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 14. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Our browser extension

The Price Punchers browser extension has its own privacy policy.

12. Contact and privacy officer

The person responsible for protecting personal information at Price Punchers is our privacy officer. For questions about this policy or about your information, or to make any of the requests in section 8, contact:

Privacy Officer, Price Punchers
Email: contact@pricepunchers.com

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top. If we make a significant change to how we use your information, we will post a notice on the site, and email Deal Alerts subscribers before the change takes effect.
